This semester’s Ackerman Visiting Artist Lecture, featuring Video Artist Nadia Hironaka, will be held on Tuesday, April 16, from 4:30 to 5:30 in PPHAC 102, ground floor of Priscilla Payne Hurd Academic Center, Main (North) Campus. More info below.
Our regular departmental art trip is on Friday, April 5. We may have room for alumni and guests to join us – if you are interested, email Jan at firstname.lastname@example.org. Occasionally we need a bus monitor, and bus monitors go free.
We are also planning a trip on Sunday, March 24, to the Barnes Foundation and the Michener Museum. Details and costs are not comfirmed, but if you are interested, please email Jan.
My show opened yesterday at the Gryphon Cafe in Wayne, PA. I have 25 pieces in the show and it will be up for a month! I hope you can stop by and see my latest work! The show is up for about a month – through the end of the day on March 2nd!

I am looking for at least two students to help me work with elementary school children at Saucon Valley Elementary School, Hellertown, PA.
Professor Steinke and art student, Matt Beniamino, were chosen to participate in the Lehigh Valley II Slideluck Postshow. Slideluck is part of the Olympus Invision Photo Festival and Lehigh Valley Month of Photography, sponsored by Artsquest. This will be Steinke’s second time to participate in the Lehigh Valley Slideluck event. Matt’s slideshow presentation was created during the Digital 2 course last fall.
